Operation Better Days is a 501c nonprofit charitable organization based in Tennessee that honors our military veteran community with adequate housing and supportive services that facilitate those that served their country and saved lives. This initiative is also intended to reduce the number of homeless veterans as these heroes resume productive positions in society. The Veteran Housing Initiative aka "Initiative" provides opportunity for the veteran, allowing them to own a little piece of the America they served through transitional housing support. 

At Operation Better Days, we

· Provide housing and housing resources necessary to help homeless veterans return to a productive and meaningful life.

· Seek to consolidate, coordinate, and improve employment, training, literacy, and vocational

rehabilitation programs throughout our community by developing programs for veterans and families of veterans.

· Serve as a repository of information to help Veterans and their families identify programs and resources that aid them on the path to securing housing.

· Assist Veterans who have specific service-connected disabilities for the purpose of constructing an adapted home or modifying an existing home to meet their adaptive needs. The goal is to provide a barrier-free living environment which affords the veteran a level of independent living that he or she may not have otherwise enjoyed.
